The valet parking attendant was very nice

I checked in at 4pm and my room was not ready for me yet. I had to wait for 30 minutes while they got a room ready for me. No one at the front desk apologized for the wait or let me know that there was going to be a 30 minute wait. When I was finally given my room key it did not work and I had to walk back to the front desk with all my stuff. Again no one at the front desk apologized. I booked a delux room but was not given a delux room. Again no one said anything. I only noticed when I recieved my bill because of the price difference.

Fairly clean, boutique hotel. Luxurious suite, exceptionally comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with a Mimosa and runny eggs, as example and top-notch service. Location so close to Close to Berkeley, nice restaurants and great shopping, and Lafayette and nearby Walnut Creek. Really excellent base for one night.

Request a room away from the dog boarding area for a more peaceful stay.

Exceptional, consistently courteous staff team with a very nice receptionist. Incredibly spacious room for their authentic old world feel, nice place for one night.

The hotel was charming and had spacious, clean rooms with a relaxing atmosphere. The ambiance was good, but the TV was dated and hard to use. Dining was good, yet the bistro's service was slower than expected. It was enjoyable enough for a return visit.

The breakfast was delicious, and I loved having the option to unwind in the jacuzzi after a busy day of sightseeing. I didn't get a chance to try the pool, but it looked inviting. Just a heads up, the service was a little slow at the restaurant, yet everything else made up for it 😊

The space was beautifully designed with charming decor. The pool area was surrounded by trees and created a serene atmosphere. My room featured lofted ceilings. Service was friendly and accommodating. A lovely experience 🏊‍♂️

The pool area was inviting, and we even got to check out some local trails nearby for a nice hike. The staff offered great recommendations for exploring Lafayette.

My kids wished there were more activities for families. Maybe a family game night would be awesome!

I had a good stay filled with charm and beautiful decor. The pool area surrounded by trees offered a serene escape, while my beautiful room had lofted ceilings enhancing the cozy ambiance. A bit of road noise somewhat affected my relaxation. Still, the service remained attentive throughout!

Would recommend for a little getaway

Beautiful hotel, charming atmosphere, with a convenient outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi area that provided a nice escape at the end of the day. The free Wi-Fi in public areas.

A Perfect Weekend Escape with Delicious Dining!

The Beautiful King room was cozy. I loved the on-site restaurant, where the staff were really good too accommodate my dietary needs. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio. It's a good way to start the day.
